Mackenzie King Estate.

Had the pleasure of being accompanied by 2 lovely ladies for a nature walk on Saturday afternoon. Ottawa had a spectacular fall, which we had practically missed, but it was a delight to be out of doors and enjoying one of the various landmarks our hometown has on offer. It was a very thanksgiving-y thing to do. I do seem to remember the Mackenzie King Estates being much more expansive, and the bucket list item seemed much more trivial once I saw how quickly the land was covered! I guess it’s one of those things you remember from childhood as being perfickly huge when really you just have teeny little strides. I’ll try and dream bigger for the next ‘hike’.

have known these women since childhood and it’s a real blessing to have people in your life for such a long time. I feel unapologetically myself around them, I forget all the silly things I think regularly and just get to be silly!! Christmas love to across the country to our sister in Orange County today: we miss you girl!!
